Screwed Flange is rather simple flange with internal screwed/threaded bore for connecting with external screwed pipes. All other properties similar to standard pipeline flanges.
Why Screwed Flanges?
Screwed Flanges has internal screwed or threaded boring for connecting with screwed pipelines. Screwed Flanges can be used where there is frequent mounting & dismounting of joint. Usually recommended for smaller sized screwed pipelines with high pressure flow.
Manufacturing Screwed Flange
Screwed Flanges are manufactured as forged & machined to size with F-NPT, BSPT, ISO or ACME threads. Screwed Flanges are forged from suitable forging stock, bar stock or heavy plates. Low pressure screwed flanges can also be directly machining plates.
