What is pipeline design?

Pipeline Design is a plan to show the look and function of the pipeline and balance the pipeline stages. While designing pipelines certain factors should be considered such as length of the pipeline, distance covered and the expected volume to be delivered and received over the pipeline. To ensure safety, pipelines are made under strict adherence in compression stations so that the energy products can travel safely and without any obstruction through the pipe.

  • Material and grades of the pipe
  • Maximum working temperature
